Service Recipients:

1. Using storytelling as a bridge and a tool for the members and volunteers of RCLKF to build the rapport with the target participants. Through relationship building, members and volunteers of RCLKF give care, concern, advise and necessary assistance to the target participants, to alleviate their problems or to strengthen them on their life journey.

2. Storytelling training and practice is an excellent way to equip the target participants with self confidence and communication. Good stories let storytellers and readers to project dreams, hope and fantasies that people tend to hide away or give up in their development. “Searching for dreams” through stories are very important for our target audience to strive against difficulties.
3. The project is executed in a way that our target participants actually carry out service to the community. The impact of the service is magnified. And through serving others, our target participants would increase in self worth and esteem and sense of belongings to the community.

Service providers:

1. Members and volunteers of RCLKF could have a better understanding and intervention to one of the major problems in Hong Kong, poverty, through direct service to the target audience.
