LIFE DECODE service project closing ceremony hosted on 17 May 2009 at North Point HKFYG Building. This is a project sponsored by Rotary Club of Lan Kwai Fong and Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. During the closing ceremony, besides a press conference of the launching a Report recorded the results gained from this meaningful programme, there is also a sharing among the youth participated and warm hearted volunteers from Rotary Club of Lan Kwai Fong. The Report has indicated over 80% youth participated have ceased the involvement in group violence and moreover obviously improvement in attitude can be seen. The youth have learnt to deal with daily conflicts and positive thinking which turns out less group violence happened. These changes are all through experimental learning, cognitive behavior therapy and mentorship activities. At the same time, a report for LIFE DECODE is printed and will dispatch to schools and youth related associations in order to provide reference for helping the youth violence problems. The report has described in detail of the programme with all necessary skills and considered a very practical tool for volunteers. 蘭桂坊扶輪社與青協荃灣及葵涌外展社工隊合辦名為「生命密碼」之服務計劃於二零零九年五月十七日於北角青協大樓舉行閉幕典禮,內容包括熱心參與義工與青少年分享輔導計劃內容及得着和計劃成果匯報。 報告內容顯示超過八成參加青少年對象於態度上明顯改善,並再沒有參與群暴事件。青少年對象通過運用體驗式學習,認知行為治療法和友伴完素協助有參與群黨式暴力青少年學習正確解决衝突方法和正向價值觀,從而減少群暴行為。 同時我們亦出版「生命密碼」輔導計劃報告書,內容詳列計劃內容和有關的輔導技巧,誠摯以此獻給有意協助有群暴行為問題青少年的人士,作為扶助青少年的實用參考。 IntrodutionThe project, titled "Life Code", is a joint project by the HK Federation of Youth Groups Outreach division and the Rotary Club of Lan Kwai Fong. In this program, the outreach social workers will put a group of 70 participants, aged 12 to 24, who at one point had participated in district gang violence (as aggressors, victims, or witnesses), through a series of activities designed to help them learn from experience. These activities include an experiential learning camp, a mock trial event, skill training courses, and a series of follow up sessions. Participants of the course will be closely monitored by the outreach members after the program. Materials used in the program, as well as lessons learned, will be packaged and shared with other outreach groups who target similar audiences. The project's primary goals are to:1. Reduce the youth groups involvement in street gang violence The expected service outcome are:1. A reduction in violence behavior for the target group Activities:The project combines experimental learning with interaction education and skills training courses through a series of workshops. These workshops include: Experimental Learning camp, Skills Training Courses, Adventure Based Training Courses, and Site Visits |
